Founded after the war in Trogen in the Swiss Alps, the Pestalozzi Children's Village welcomes  orphans from all over Europe. In this village inspired by the ideal of community life, borders and teachers cohabit, but relationships are sometimes tumultuous...Here Lindtberg directs budding young actors from different countries on location in the actual Pestalozzi Village: "We came to Trogen as foreigners, as intruders, and had to gradually integrate ourselves into the big Pestalozzi Village family. Our young artists differed not only in their personalities, but also in their nationalities. (...) All these children live together peacefully and as good friends, and it's important that it stays that way" (Leopold Lindtberg).
